SILENT AUCTION
All silent auction bidding will be done electronically online through WeDo Charity Auctions.
If you are having difficulty bidding at the event, WeDo representatives will be available to assist you. The anticipated close time for the silent auction is Saturday, September 27 at approximately 9:15pm. However, you will receive a text message to alert you when there are approximately 10 minutes left to bid.
At the close of the auction, the winning bidder will be notified via a text notification from WeDo on their phone.
LIVE AUCTION
To bid in the Live Auction in-person at the event, a bidder must raise their hand and/or program book and have the bid recognized by the auctioneer. Spotters are located throughout the room to make sure your bid is acknowledged.
When the Auctioneer announces “Sold” to the specified bidder, that bidder (as recognized by the auctioneer) shall be deemed to have purchased the offered package for the amount bid.
If the minimum specified bid for a package (any item or experience) is not obtained, the package may be withdrawn from the Live Auction.
In the event of a dispute as to who is the winning bidder, a FARA Energy Ball representative shall determine the winning bidder. Alternatively, the bidding for the package may be reopened. All auction decisions rest in the FARA Energy Ball’s sole discretion and shall be final.
GENERAL AUCTION RULES
Packages are sold as-is. The FARA Energy Ball assumes no risk, liability or responsibility for any packages. All auction packages have a one-year expiration date unless otherwise expressly stated. There are no exceptions. Bidders are encouraged to book their trips early for the best chance of securing their desired dates. No refunds or exchanges are permitted. No package may be exchanged or returned to the store or individual who donated it. Gift certificates are not replaceable, even if lost or stolen. Any value listed for a package is only an estimate. All bidders must be 18 years of age or older.
PAYMENTS
Each accepted oral or electronic bid obliges the highest bidder to pay the bid price in full by cash, check, VISA, MasterCard or American Express. At the close of the silent auction, you will be sent a link to self-checkout for auction items, donations, or purchased items/experiences. On Monday, September 29, at 3:00 PM Eastern, unpaid balances will be charged to the card on file.
To ensure more of your contribution goes towards our mission, an optional 3.5% donation will be added to contributions made by credit card. You may opt out of this donation during the self-checkout process or you can arrange another form of payment by informing FARA staff at the event, by emailing info@curefa.org, or by calling 484-879-6160 prior to Monday, September 29, at 3:00PM Eastern.
All live items must either be paid for the night of the event or an agreement arranged for payment within 30 days of the event. Cashiers will be located at the check-out table outside the Ballroom after the dinner program has started.
PICK-UP OF WON/PURCHASED PACKAGES
Auction packages can be picked up just outside of the ballroom starting at approximately 9:30pm. The FARA Energy Ball is unable to provide delivery.
For those bidding remotely, we will make efforts to arrange for pick-up of your items in the Tampa Bay region. If shipping is necessary, you may incur shipping charges for oversized or heavy items.
