A national mentorship initiative pairing high school students with PhD-level mentors and AI co-mentors to conduct real, original research. Delivered entirely online, the program reaches students in every state and ZIP code — expanding access to the kind of structured, high-quality project experience that prepares young people for advanced study and long-term impact in STEM.
Richard Lui is a veteran journalist with more than 30 years of experience across broadcast journalism, film, technology, and business. An anchor at MSNBC/NBC News and former CNN Worldwide correspondent, he was the first Asian American male to anchor a daily national cable news program. He is the bestselling author of Enough About Me and an award-winning filmmaker whose documentaries Sky Blossom (2021) and UNCONDITIONAL (2023) have premiered at the White House, U.S. Congress, and the United Nations. A leading advocate for Alzheimer’s caregiving and AAPI issues, he has also co-founded a fintech venture that holds a patent.
He is currently leading the Pioneer Legacy Project: Invisible Giants, Global Minds Building Global Change, a first-of-its-kind micro-documentary series spotlighting Asian American innovators in science and technology. Produced by PRISCA, an Academy Award-qualifying team behind UNCONDITIONAL, the series features 50 pioneers across disciplines and is designed for mainstream, multi-platform distribution across theaters, television, and streaming, alongside targeted outreach to educational, cultural, and scientific institutions.
CK Swett, a California native and Duke University graduate, began his career in the auction world in 2006, and has worked at Christie’s, Phillips and Heritage during the intervening 16 years. In 2016, he founded Lot 1 with former Christie’s colleague Charles Antin in order to better address the critical importance of live gala presenting and fundraising.
As both Auctioneer and Master of Ceremonies, CK has delighted audiences in Hong Kong, London, Toronto, across the Caribbean, and in 23 of 50 states. He has shared the stage with the world’s most notable people, auctioneering for or co-hosting with Presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton, Muhammad Ali, Rihanna, Dave Chapelle, Seth Meyers, Hugh Jackman, Usher, Shaquille O’Neal, and Jeff Bezos, to name just a few.
When not convincing bidders to raise their paddle one last time, he is often found golfing, playing chess on his phone, or singing enthusiastically off-key.
American violinist Kevin Zhu gained worldwide attention at age 11, taking First Prize at the 2012 Menuhin Competition, and six years later, First Prize at the Paganini Competition in Italy. His career has since taken him to renowned concert halls across the globe, including Konzerthaus Berlin, London’s Royal Festival Hall, the Forbidden City Concert Hall in Beijing, the Esplanade in Singapore, and Bozar Brussels.
A recipient of the 2021 Avery Fisher Career Grant, Kevin is praised for both “infinite delicacy” and “wild intensity” (RTBF Belgium). His playing has been described as “absolute virtuosity, almost blinding in its incredible purity” (L’ape musicale), as well as possessing “soul, character, an inner life, with meticulousness and a great deal of sensitivity” (Dresdner Neueste Nachrichten).
The 2025 to 2026 season includes performances with the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra, China National Symphony Orchestra, Dresdner Festspielorchester, and Sofia Philharmonic, along with recital appearances across the United States, Canada, Germany, Italy, Spain, China, and South Korea. Additional highlights include concerto appearances in Paris and Madrid, and the world premiere of a new violin concerto by French composer Hugues Reiner.
Kevin has been featured on ABC Eyewitness News, BBC Radio 3, and RAI Radio 3. He is a Violin Channel Artist and serves as Cultural Ambassador of the Lin Yao Ji Music Foundation of China. He studied with Itzhak Perlman and Li Lin at The Juilliard School, where he earned his Bachelor’s degree.
Kevin performs on the c. 1700 “ex-Petri” Antonio Stradivari violin, on loan from the Ryuji Ueno Foundation and Rare Violins In Consortium, Artists and Benefactors Collaborative.
In support of the AIX Summit East 2026, and in benefit of the Asian American Scholar Forum (AASF) and the AI NextGen Foundation, the artist will generously contribute 20% of sales from this series.

Bio
Fang Xu is a contemporary Chinese artist known for his distinctive visual language that bridges sculpture, painting, and conceptual form. Born in 1987, he graduated from the Sculpture Department of the Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts and now lives and works between Beijing and Princeton.
His work blends structural precision with expressive intensity, often exploring the relationship between form, energy, and human experience. Recognized as a rising voice in contemporary art, his works have been exhibited internationally and collected by institutions and private collectors around the world.
