ABOUT SPECIAL STRIDES
Dear Friends of Special Strides,
Special Strides is pleased to announce that it is hosting a golf outing on Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at Knob Hill Golf Club, Manalapan, NJ.
Special Strides is a 27 year-old non-profit organization located in Monroe, NJ. that provides therapy, recreation and education, with the partnership of a horse and the natural environment, to children and adults with disabilities throughout their lifespan. The therapists (occupational therapists, physical therapists, and speech therapists), adaptive riding instructors, and equine specialists help all of our clients reach their potential.
The motion, and e-motion, of the horse, as well as the natural environment, help individuals to learn important life skills such as walking, talking, developing leisure activities, self esteem, and interpersonal skills.
Dedicated to the mission of “improving lives…one stride at a time,” Special Strides provides programs and services to clients regardless of financial status, and so depends on generous donations and sponsorships by individuals, corporations and local businesses.
Your support is essential in helping us care for the herd and ensuring that individuals who need financial assistance have access to services.
