Dear Friends of Special Strides,

Special Strides is pleased to announce that it is hosting a golf outing on Monday, July 20, 2026 at Knob Hill Golf Club, Manalapan, NJ.

Special Strides is a 28 year-old non-profit organization located in Monroe, NJ. that provides therapy, recreation and education, with the partnership of a horse and the natural environment, for children and adults with disabilities throughout their lifespan. A dedicated staff of therapists (occupational therapists, physical therapists, and speech therapists), adaptive riding instructors, and equine specialists empower clients to reach their potential.

The motion, and e-motion, of the horse, as well as the natural environment, help individuals to learn important life skills such as walking, talking, developing leisure activities, self esteem, and interpersonal skills.

Dedicated to the mission of “improving lives…one stride at a time,” Special Strides provides programs and services to clients regardless of financial status, and so depends on generous donations and sponsorships by individuals, corporations and local businesses.

Your support is essential in helping us care for the herd and providing financial assistance to those who cannot otherwise have access to services.
