Rise Up for Kids Breakfast
A Community Conversation on Protecting Kids in a Digital World
Thursday, April 23, 2026
7:30–9:00 AM (Doors open at 7:00 AM)
The Ritz Charles | Carmel, Indiana
Join us for the Rise Up for Kids Breakfast, a meaningful morning gathering bringing together community leaders, parents, educators, and advocates who are committed to keeping kids safe—online and off.
This inspiring breakfast will feature a Digital Safety Panel focused on the real risks children face in today’s digital environment and the practical steps adults can take to protect and support them. Guests will leave informed, empowered, and ready to take action.
Children’s lives are increasingly shaped by technology—and so are the risks they face. Our expert panel will explore current trends in online exploitation, mental health impacts, and prevention strategies, with a focus on collaboration between families, schools, and communities.
Panelists include representatives from:
Indiana State Police Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force
Local law enforcement
School social workers
Mental health professionals
The conversation will provide real-world insight, warning signs to watch for, and tools to help keep kids safe both online and offline.

About ICPYAS
Here at the Indiana Center for Prevention of Youth Abuse and Suicide (ICPYAS), we're on a mission to put an end to child sexual abuse and youth suicide. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we've been passionately pursuing this goal since we opened our doors in 2001. Our team is dedicated to providing vital resources and support across Indiana. Through dynamic programs like Childhelp Speak Up Be Safe, Stewards of Children, FIRST Response, NetSmartz digital safety, Signs of Suicide, and QPR Gatekeeper Training, we empower individuals and communities with the knowledge and skills needed to protect our youth.
Our aim is clear: to create safe spaces where every young person feels supported and empowered to thrive. Join us in making a difference today!
