5th Annual Deputy Jacob Pickett Remembrance Day

March 4th, 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM at the Boone County 4-H Fairgrounds

About

About

The 5th Annual Deputy Jacob Pickett Remembrance Day

is hosted by the Jacob Pickett Response Organization and

presented by our proud sponsor, the Boone County Sheriff's Office.

Join us as we remember late Deputy Pickett on his End of Watch. We will remember how he lived. He lived to help and serve others. This event will be held to raise funds for the Sanford's. Doug Sanford, a Hamilton County Deputy, has been battling Covid 19 and has been hospitalized since December 5th, 2021. He is currently fighting for his life on a ventilator and ECMO. Let's band together with prayers and donations to help with accruing medical bills, car repairs for his wife to go to work and the hospital and facilitate resources to help her with day-to-day responsibilities as she navigates this trying time without her husband home.

March 4th will be a day full of family fun including a Red Cross Blood Drive and Respond & Run Memorial 5k.

The event will include food trucks, Klooz Brewz, SIMS target practice,

silent auction, business and craft vendors, police demos, a kids zone,

and a cornhole tournament.

There will literally be something there for everyone!
