OUR MISSION AND VISION

Our mission is to nurture the spiritual and material needs of all people in the horse racing industry and their families through Christian ministry.

Our vision is to bring about the salvation of all people in the horse racing industry through the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

OUR MESSAGE

"I had many wonderful experiences during my 32 years as a thoroughbred jockey but my work with the                      chaplaincy is decidedly more rewarding and fulfilling. Thank you sponsors, partners, and supporters                 from every corner of this ministry. God Bless!"

- Pat Day

"Our mission at the Kentucky Race Track Chaplaincy is simple but vital: to care for the men and women who make Kentucky racing possible — backstretch workers, trainers, grooms, and their families — often in moments when they need support the most. Through pastoral care, crisis assistance, and practical help, KRTC serves as a steady presence in this demanding industry. Every visit, prayer, meal, and act of kindness is made possible by partners who believe that caring for people matters as much as caring for the sport.

Thank you for considering an investment in this important work. Your support allows us to show up —  consistently, compassionately, and without condition — for those who too often go unseen."

With gratitude,

- Jim Tye, KRTC President
