Gorgeous, signed print of "Track Prep" by equine artist Joseph Petro (1932-2011), who was a Kentucky artist known for his depictions of horses in the racing industry. This vintage 1967 print is part of his 'From Foal to Finish’ series of limited edition lithographs which explores the journey of a horse from birth to a champion racehorse. The series includes 6 different lithographs: ‘Heir Apparent’, ‘Trying His Legs’, ‘Just For Fun’, ‘Schooling at Home’, ‘Track Prep’ and ‘Will to Win’. Print is signed by Joseph Petro in the lower right corner, and comes in a vintage folio with information about the series.
