148 - "Footprints in the Snow" by Sylvia Sawyer

A 9" x 12" framed watercolor on cold press paper by artist Sylvia Sawyer. 

"Footprints in the Snow", done in February 2024, shows the path down to the Old North Bridge. Born and raised in Ireland, Sylvia was trained in art in the UK where she practiced graphics, illustration, and animation there, and in Switzerland before moving to the US. 

"For the last fourteen years, I have been living in and around Concord and finally getting back to my artistic roots (mainly due to the break in my other career that COVID allowed me). I’m so enjoying painting again; watercolor is my first love, and we are so lucky to have such a wealth of inspiration around us in this part of the world."
