About GSG

Girls Supporting Girls believes educated girls can change the world.

We work to remove gender barriers and inspire children to be change-makers.

Partnering with nonprofits like buildOn, A&K Philanthropy, Uman Tok and Schools for Salone, we build schools, libraries, and infrastructure in underserved regions. Scholarships cover uniforms, books, and transportation, ensuring access to education.

We also fund adult literacy programs, empowering families with skills in health, agriculture, and income generation.

Our Accomplishments:

  • Built 15 schools in Burkina Faso, Cambodia, Guatemala, Haiti, Mali, Malawi, Nepal, Nicaragua, Senegal, and Sri Lanka.
  • Supported international teacher training for 20 women.
  • Built 8 adult literacy centers.
  • Provided 30 annual scholarships for seven consecutive years.
  • Funded 450 school lunches annually.
  • Supported three years of funding for reusable menstrual kits.
  • Supported three years of reproductive education initiatives.
  • Funded technology resources for local Chicago Public School students.
  • Supported the ROAR program at a local Chicago Public School.
  • Organized and funded local movie screenings, workshops, and educational initiatives for youth.

Through education, we are transforming lives and strengthening communities worldwide.
