When the COVID-19 pandemic started and congregation hosting had to be suspended, our volunteers and supporters came together to rent apartments as shelters. It was not only more cost effective than hotels, it was successful with 89% of families securing housing! Now we need your support to keep that momentum going for every family with children that call for shelter.
By bidding in Family Promise’s silent auction and participating in the dessert auction, each bidder agrees to these auction rules:
The Fundraising Committee for “Home Sweet Home” has worked to provide an opportunity for local businesses, organizations, and individuals to support the work of the Family Promise.
However, neither the Committee nor Family Promise make claims, representations or warranties as to the safety, quality, or reliability of any of the items or services offered in the auctions. Under no circumstances will the Committee or Family Promise be held responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any loss or damage that is caused or alleged to have been caused in connection with the use of the items or services purchased in the auction. The purchaser is responsible for evaluating the safety, quality, and reliability of items purchased, and assumes the risk of using those items and services.
Each person bidding assumes all risks and hazards related to the auction and items obtained at the auction. Each bidder agrees to hold harmless from any liability arising indirectly from Family Promise of Greater Indianapolis, their elected and appointed officials, members and employees, the event organizers, sponsors, and/or volunteers connected with the auction.
